Heathen’s Wall

Located in Wiesbaden, the Heathen’s Wall, or Heidenmauer, is the remaining section of a Roman wall built around 370AD. The bridge and built by it is called the Romertor, which was built around 1900. There is not much to see here, but it is lovely. The open air museum on the grounds is a small collection of Roman artifacts.

My favorite thing to do in Wiesbaden is eat outside at a restaurant by the Heidenmauer. And my favorite restaurant I’ve found just happens to be a little Italian place called Casa D’Oro. It has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
